Natatorium Closing July 29-Aug. 20

The Denton Natatorium will be closed for repairs from July 29 to Aug. 20. These repairs are part of a 1.4 million dollar DISD bond election. The repairs will include replastering the competition pool, replacing the dehumidification/HVAC system, and other internal updates. This is the first time in 17 years that these updates have been made to the Natatorium. In November, four rooftop units were replaced as part of this bond.

The Civic Center Pool will have an extended morning schedule to accomodate for the closure. Anyone with a NAT/WWP pass or the general public may use the CCP while it is open. 

Monday/Wednesday/Friday 5:30 a.m.-noon | Water Walking, Toddler Time, Shallow Water Swim 7 a.m.-noon | Lap Swimming 

Tuesday/Thursday 7 a.m.-noon | Water Walking, Toddler Time, Lap Swimming, Shallow Water Swim

Monday/Friday 3-6 p.m. | Adult Lap Swimg (two lanes)

Slides and water walk amenities will begin at noon. Spray features will be on from 5:30 a.m.-noon M/W/F and from 7 a.m.-noon on T/Th.
